My name is Branislava and I have serious addiction to yarn, fabric and thread. At some point, an intervention may be necessary. Until then, I will keep my needles going.
I have been knitting and sewing since I was a little girl thanks to two wonderful grandmothers. My Baba Milunka taught me to knit. My Grammy Isabelle taught me to embroider and sew by hand. It makes me happy to carry on their love of needle arts and to still feel so connected to them.
My knitting and sewing has been a history of stops and starts. Since moving back to my hometown, I have rekindled my passion for both. They have been an outlet for my creativity and my version of therapy.
I always have multiple projects going and because that isn’t enough, I am always looking for new projects. (If you didn’t know, Ravelry and Pinterest are dangerous places.) Then, there is all that beautiful yarn, floss and fabric which leads to all my drooling and pawing. (I told you this was serious.)
I would be remiss without mentioning my enablers: the wonderful knitting community that is blogging, posting and tweeting. They share their beautiful projects and can be counted on for inspiration, encouragement and support.
I hope you enjoy my adventures.
